(AMI), the nation’s foremost provider of Merchant Cash Advances for small and mid-sized businesses, announces today that it has been selected by The Devereux Georgia Treatment Network, a non-profit residential facility which houses youth ages 10-18, as their Community Partner of the Year. This award pays tribute to the Devereux Georgia local community partner that has gone above and beyond the necessary involvement and given their heart and time to the children and adults who utilize services provided by Devereux. For more than 30 years, the organization has served children in Georgia who are victims of extreme poverty, abuse or neglect. AdvanceMe quickly ramped up their assistance to Devereux Georgia, donating its time and financial resources to the local treatment network over the past 2 years. In addition to volunteer time, AdvanceMe has sponsored the Winter Wall of Wishes during the holidays, donated computers to the transitional residence house and participated in the Build a Playground Day and Student Mentorship Programs. Most recently AdvanceMe employees collected over 500 books and magazines to supplement the Devereux Library. “AdvanceMe’s generous donations allow our organization to better assist the children that utilize the Devereux Georgia treatment center,” explains Cameron Turner, development officer of the Devereux Georgia treatment center. “AdvanceMe shares our belief that we truly can make a difference in a child’s life.” AdvanceMe’s history of charitable giving includes organizations dedicated to youth advocacy. In addition to Devereux Georgia, the company works with the Grand Street Settlement, a center located in New York city, which provides educational and recreational activities to low-income children. AdvanceMe’s employees also raised thousands of dollars to assist Tsunami victims and assisted Hurricane Katrina victims with job placement.
