AdvanceMe Collaborates with Devereux to Honor Earth Day

Company Teams-Up to Give Back and Help the Environment

ATLANTA (April 23, 2008) - AdvanceMe, Inc., the nation’s leading provider of Merchant Cash Advances for small and mid-sized businesses, announced today an annual Earth Day celebratory project supporting The Devereux Georgia Treatment Network.

Earth Day is held each year on April 22; its purpose is to inspire awareness of and appreciation for the Earth's environment. AdvanceMe and Devereux have teamed-up to dedicate time and resources to an annual project focused on beautifying the Devereux campus while helping the environment. The project entails planting a tree yearly to expand and beautify the landscape surrounding Devereux.

“This program honoring Earth Day gives AdvanceMe an opportunity to simultaneously help the community and the environment,” said Glenn Goldman, CEO of Capital Access Network, parent company of AdvanceMe. “AdvanceMe recognizes the importance of environmental awareness and stewardship. Planting trees helps remove carbon dioxide from the air and reduces the chance for global climate change. Together with Devereux we can make a positive impact on the environment and our community. Hopefully this will inspire others to respect and honor Earth Day, as well as give the children of Devereux a nature-enhanced campus.”

To kick off the first year of the program AdvanceMe and Devereux have designated a portion of the campus that is adjacent to a pond as a “Nature Appreciation” area which includes a trellis and teak sitting bench that invites visitors to contemplate, and appreciate the natural surroundings. Annually, AdvanceMe will donate a tree, which the children of Devereux will help plant, providing an opportunity for them to learn about horticulture.

AdvanceMe recognizes how vital it is to incorporate environmental stewardship into the every day conduct of business, and has demonstrated a commitment to understanding the impact its organization has on the environment and working to continually improve its environmental performance. In addition to this project, AdvanceMe has undertaken several other environmentally friendly initiatives that include recycling, reduction of waste, use of recyclable materials and vendor waste management tactics.

“AdvanceMe's donation will continue to impact our campus as well as the people that we assist at Devereux,” explains Cameron Turner, development officer of the Devereux Georgia treatment center. “The trees around Devereux not only beautify our grounds, but also represent the shelter and comfort that we provide for the individuals and families that visit our organization. We are touched by AdvanceMe's generosity and commitment to our organization and look forward to continuing our work with them in the future.”

Devereux is a non-profit residential facility which houses youth ages 9-21. For more than 30 years, Devereux has cared for children and adolescents suffering from emotional, psychological, and behavior disorders nationwide. Over the past three years AdvanceMe has donated its time and financial resources to the local treatment network. In addition to the environmental program, AdvanceMe and its employees have sponsored the Winter Wall of Wishes during the holidays, donated computers to the transitional residence house, participated in the Build a Playground Day and Student Mentorship Programs as well as collected books and magazines to supplement the Devereux library. In 2007 AdvanceMe was selected by Devereux as their Community Partner of the Year.
